DA SHEE Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 I have a shee that I just picked up for $300 runs good, has what looks to be toomys on it plastic is shot but what the heck $300. But the only problem It's stuck in 3rd gear but I can shift to 4th. When you up shift the shifter stays up it dosent return to the normal position and same when I down shift. I have replaced shifting forks on a diffrent one so not affraid to split the case I thought one of you guys might have a idea what it could be. Thanks guys Quote

Snopczynski Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 The end of the shift shaft where it goes over the star is more than likely bent and stuck off the end of the star. You will probably only need a new shift shaft. Quote
