Darthwall Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 like it says had my clutch cover powdercoated and the heat baked the seal that was on it I have ead lots of people have them welded all the way around but this one is spot welded with an epoxy like sealant but has cracked from the heat of the powdercoating oven I would weld it up but more than likely it would ruin the PC work anyone know? theshee Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 carb clean it out really good on the inside, and then mix up some jb weld and put around it inside there. That will seal it up. I JB welded my lockup covers together and never had a leak or had them come apart for that much, without a spot weld even. Quote
Darthwall Posted September 4, 2009 Author Report Posted September 4, 2009 that is what I was going to do before I asked the question but I wasnt sure about the hardness of JB weld the stuff I took out of the insert is flexible so I kinda thought the jb might just crack from vibrations after some time Quote
