AKheathen Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 anyone narrow down exactly what makes the carbs runaway when they get a little wet, or has condensation inside, from sitting overnight? the slides don't seem to drag/stick at all. could it be freezing? getting annoying, but it does go away with heat, like if i ride through a river, it only lasts a few seconds, but can take 5-10 min after a humid night Quote
zach45 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 it happenes i just play with my off switch untill it goes away... i run an open air box so i know its something to do with that Quote

zach45 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 i try to wheelie over the puddles..... if you can get the front wheels up you'll be fine.... once and a while when i just plow threw the puddles i get the bike to run away... but like i said before i just play with the switch turning it off and on untill it stops .. stokes77 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 I've got the exact same problem and would like to know how to fix this. I run with a lid/no snorkel and everytime i hit a puddle remotely hard the carbs start stickin. Weird thing is as soon as I let the clutch out and start driving they seem to 'unstick'. For the most part it only happens when the clutch is in. Quote
