The Faster Cracker Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 Ok so a while back before snake hunt i had to replace the entire tranny. everyhting went to gether just fine and i installed the modded shift star from FAST as well. The tranny shifts perfect except when i get to sixth gear. It s like it just goes into neutral. There is no grinding no nothing its like it goes from 5th to neutral like i said. any ideas? Quote
GrMeyer Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 you didnt get the option with revers did you? HAHA just kidding. I had the same prob and found out to be the shift forks had some castings that would get hung up on the shift drum. So i filed down and good as new. Just my .02 Quote
