szewczyd
I picked up a banshee and he was running Bel-Ray oil mixed 60:1. I like to be on the safe side, if I mix 40:1 will I foul plugs? Edited June 22, 2009 by szewczyd

Holy balls man, 60:1? How does it run? Is Bel-Ray thinner than Yamalube? I ask because like myself, most riders I know up here run 32:1 Banshee or dirt bike. I know one guy that runs 40:1 to be safe & his runs pretty damn rich. I know some guys that run 20:1 if their racing but that comes with a rebuild after. I'm actually running Polaris mixing oil (little thicker/better for the colder summer months here) at 32:1 right now & mine runs like a dream. I think you are mistaken as 60:1 is lean on oil it has 60 parts of gas to every 1 part of oil. I want to run 40:1 so that is a closer gas to oil mix. I run 40:1 and love it, I run ams oil dominator and 32:1 if I run yamalube or outboard oil.
