KaosBanshee44 Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 Looking for some stainless allen head bolts for my top motor mounts. I want to get rid of the stock bolts but don't wanna spend alot of money on a kit off ebay. Does someone have some laying around or what the exact size thread etc. is. Thanks Quote

Thanks Stainless is a soft metal and it will stretch, twist, and warp. I wouldn't recommend doing this. Plus they have a habit of galling. Quote

Yup, and I can't remember the torque specs on those bolts. I don't think it's very high so you could probably get away with it. I do know that Cascade sells just the motor bolts but they are in chrome, and of course being Cascade you gotta give part of the jewels to pay for it. Quote
