Bansheeb0y5505 Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 My stator went bad, but I had an idea. What would happen if I switched the 2 lighting wires with the white/red and white/green. The light side is still good, somewhere on the other side is where it shorted out and stopped working. I'm not an electrical guru but figured i would ask. Only thing im worried about is it producing too much current. Quote
AKheathen Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 it might overload, or run at too low of voltage, but i wouldn't want to risk the cdi going out as well as the stator. i would, however, give $10 fir it, and know someone who has a good one for $40 Quote

A wire on the ignition switch was loose Quote
