One thing that will help is getting rid of the 2 in to 1 set up if you want to drag race and put dual carbs back on it. They take away from the top end and add mid and low end. Porting,head work and the right pipes are the top 3 things fro drag racing. Dan Quote
tapout94 Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 i had a 2 into 1 with FMF pipes, and now that im building a +4 stroker drag bike i got rid of the pipes and went back to duals. that is what you need to do. sell the FMF pipes and the 2 into 1 carb to a trail rider, get some dual 28-34mm carbs and some CPI or shearer small bore pipes. and since i would assume your port job is for trail riding(to compliment your current setup) it would help out tremendously to get a more aggressive port job! plus, it would help to get a cool head with some custom domes. also, start shaving weight where you can.
