GrMeyer Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 This is going to be harder then I was thinking...At least im not the only one stuck on this... Quote
blowit Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 You may want to define CMM for the masses......... (I have found the same thing by the way. I figure out my ratios in a Catia model. ) :geek: What did you find? same as me or stroker? We use the CMM to plot the points, then create a 3D model with the correct dome profile that is FAR from hemispherical. CMM = coordinate measuring machine. Brandon Quote

Brandon I found pretty much the same thing that you did..... Quote
J-Madd Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 Just did a comp. test on the newly rebuilt motor, it's 150 in both cylinders, but that was when it was 27 degrees outside, Im running +4 timing, and the premium gas here is 90 octane, what should I run as far as fuel, Im thinking maybe mix premium with some 110 or 112 octane in a 50/50 mix?! If it's unported, and using stock gaskets you should be fine with 93 octane, not sure about 90.. Not doubting that CR is disproportional to static compression, but too many run this same setup with zero issues on pump gas (93 oct). Quote
blowit Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 I found pretty much the same thing that you did..... Thanks, I was about to go back and start looking at data again. guess we will keep running our 25:1 motors. B Quote
BansheeJohn Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 OK I think I did it correct. And I'm comming up with 12.3:1 ratio.. I run 110 with a dynatech ignition, my adjustable timing plate is set to 0 Quote
