BansheeRider87 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Did this last night. Took about 40mins. While I was going through my harneess checking everything, I noticed a green wire coming out of cdi and going to the clutch (which i labeled before). My harness is the same as this only i still have that green clutch wire. Is it ok to cut out this wire too? It was never on the diagram before or after. Quote

If you cut it, the bike may not rev past 3,000rpm. I cant remember though. You just ground it if that happens. Quote
BansheeRider87 Posted March 20, 2009 Author Report Posted March 20, 2009 Ok ill keep it thanks. Whats the point of what it does? Quote

Snopczynski Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 You dont have to keep it, you just have to ground it back near the cdi if it wont rev up. Quote
