robert0762 Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 Stock all the way except for a k&n filter, lid on. had some problems with bike when I first got it. Electrical ,solved that problem . Then it was on to jet correctly. So through trial and error I have a 230 main and a 27.5 pilot but still cant get it to idle . Its acting like it is still lean .I have 27.5 pilots air scerws all the way in and if i try to adjust the slides up using the idle screws on tors box she will start to rev up and hang there like its lean. but i cant imagine it needing a larger pilot cause I'm at sea levei 50 degrees and have no fuckin mods. so should I test it Quote

See where your needles are as well. That will affect the small throttle openings as well. Spray around the base of the cylinders with propane gas or equivalent to detect air leaks. Also, may have jet blockage as well. Those pilots are damn finicky about contaminates. All banshees should be fitted with an in line filter because the OEM tank filter does nothing but slow the fuel down... Your carb slides are balanced correctly, right?
