lt1bird Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 I have a cheetah cyl and it has no spring mounts to hold the pipes on. What do folks do to hold the pipes on good? I guess I could mount some springs down lower on the pipes??/ speak up cheetah owners!! Quote
flyhighprerunner Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 Buy some of the L brackets for mounting pictures from your local hardware store and mount those off the powervalve block off bolts and then run the springs to there..... Quote
lt1bird Posted March 11, 2009 Author Report Posted March 11, 2009 (edited) Thats what my plan was....just wondering if anyone had any other idea's....So will the two springs on each pipe hold it on ok? My cr500 use to push that pipe off the flange when reved up..... finally siliconed it in I still have the powervalves so it will move the springs up a bit more as well... zachass9 Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 LOL I had to have my builder show me on my cheetah!! There is a little hole on the side of each powervalve!! that is the top spring mount. Quote
shanYE west Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 shearer sends out spring mounts with the pipes.. They go underneath the nut on the cylinder studs. I sent a few to onesickcrewcab and docjcwatson. Maybe they can take a pic of them for ya. Quote
