jmoore Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 After 4 years on my stock chain, I am going to get a replacement. I believe a stock replacement would be a 520/104? I want to mess around with some different size sprockets like a 15/40 or maybe try a 14/44 setup. At what point do I need a different length chain? Also I would love to have a roundhouse style carrier. These dont fit on the stock swinarm right? After doing some searching, I am under the assumption that you need a new swingarm for a round house? Thanks! Quote

Thanks! You could probably run a 15 40 with a stock lenth chain but u will need a longer one for a 14-44. its been a long time since my set up was stock! and u need a whole new swingarm in order to run a round house carrier and they are a much better setup Quote
bansheefreak Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 you you know a good welder you can make a stock swingarm and roundhouse.. they sell the tube kits ... if you wanna see one. i'll get pics of my brothers its stocker shortend to a minus 2 with roundhouse. as for the chain. if you went 13/41 be almost same as 14/44 and you wouldnt need a longer chain.. 104 links would be fine.
