Any one know the amp hour rating on this battery?

Clicky

idk, but would you be interested in going in on 2 of these? you could mount 1 and keep a spare, or mount 2 for 14ah. i live in alaska, so i could buy, shiped to your house, then you just send 3 to me

Its 4 AH, not 100 ah. AH100 is a model it fits.

roflmfao, i was contemplating how the hell that little l/a battery could put out 100 amps for an hour. mabey a li/po, but that would risk a 50 foot crater

Sorry bud I all ready ordered the battery before I saw your post.

Thanks for the help guys. If I wanted to run two of these batteries how would I wire them up?

that's ok, the offer's still open to anyone.

hook the power wires together, and run both grounds to the frame

One more question on the conversion. One my trail tech regulator/rectifier it says not to ground to chassis. So do I just run the ground wire from the new regulator/rectifier straight to the battery? And when I removed my stock regulator it had a ground wire that was under the mounting bolt do I keep it there or run it to the battery as well? Or do I just ground the battery right off the terminal to the chassis? Thanks for the help.

man that's messed up. the trailtech can only handle a 4ah battery, you have to isolate the grounds to the rectifier from the lights, and not use the frame. you also have to ground the battery to the rectifier through the blue wire, so you can only use one battery

If you read the instructions it says to hook up the blue wire for a battery under 4ah and do not use it for a battery that's over 4ah.

I just need to know if I keep all the stock ground wires the same and just run the regulator/rectifier ground to the battery and for the the lights do I ground them to the battery or to the stock ground? I'm going to be installing the trail tech SCMR16.

i don't know how many watts those lights are, and wether or not it can handle the current of charging the battery and running the lights off the same wire. it should be able to work that way, but since you baught a 4ah battery, you might wanna just run them as per instructions. what it does, is split the current like a battery isolator. first giving power to the lights, while allowing the battery to power the lights as well, when the output from the stator increases, it sends the excess current to charging the battery. it's actually a nice feature, but when i do mine, i'm just going to build my rectifier/regulator, and isolate 2 or 3 batteries

ok, i just read more on the trailtech, and you can run it off the light wires :shoothead:

Always ground the rectifier ground to chassis, and the battery. The frame needs to be well grounded to the negative circuit. Then run reg/rectifier to the bttery, and run the power feed for the switch to the battery as well. Mr16's draw about 2.5 amps each after the 12 amp startup.
