drap660 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I run dunlop factory banshee tires cause I drag on asphault a bit and they are great for top end but I get no traction in the trails so I am looking for a trail tire that will not kill my speed. I have ran ITP holeshots before and they totally slow down the bike big time. So basically I need a good trail tire that will still keep up most of my performance. Any suggestions? Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 What's the terrain, dirt, gravel? Yeah I doubt asphalt tires have ANY traction... Miami? I live in Naples so I bet our terrains are similar... mixed dirt to beach sandish? (Majority being sand...but not likes dunes.) Quote
drap660 Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 pretty much, just regular sand/dirt Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 pretty much, just regular sand/dirt I run Razr2s and love them...but you said weight is a concern... They will dig @ low RPMs in the sand, but once you hit pipe they rip and roost hard, and float across it. Quote
sleeper06 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 When I run my bike in trails or dirt drags I use a factory honda tire called an Ohtsu,I got them off F.A.S.T. racings website on a link through here, hes got a couple of options, before that I only ran good stockers because of rotating weight Quote
