Using a diffrent key set

My friend has a nice set-up on his ltr.

 

He has a key console which turns on, and then another 1/8 turn which turns on the lights and instead of stock high/low beam switch, kill switch combo console, he has just a dirtbike kill switch button. and a small toggle switch for high low bean. Looks very clean.

 

Can I buy a key console like his and have it hook up like that? is it possile?

 

I was thinking just splice in the wire for the light to the stock light switch and then just hook up the key wires so itll turn the motor off and on.
