badshee1998 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 (edited) what clip should my needle be on?? another thing,, the bike doesnt necessarily have to smoke if your jetted right does it? i really dont know much about 2-strokes its my first one, ive owned 4strokes. im not sure if ive just havent noticed it much before but it seems like it really vibrates off of idle, it seems to vibrate my motor cause i can see my head vibrate coming off idle, but my buddy said its normal they all do that.. i have port work done on cylinders and cases, cool head w/20cc domes, +4 timing plate, k and n filters, stock carbs, trued and welded crank, with fmf sst exhaust, v-force reeds. im running a 27.5 pilot and 350 main, is that too rich of a starting point? my elevation is about 1000ft above sea level, i live in kansas. oh and running with no air box. temps around 50 degrees...
