01bansheefox Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 2 questions actually... 1. I see some people get lucky and are sent a green sticker when actually they have a red sticker bike, do the park rangers not run the VIN number to see if the bike is actually a green or red? 2nd. If you have a extra green sticker from a dirtbike and put it on a quad does that matter? I know each sticker has numbers and letters like a license plate do any of those indicate what vehicle the sticker is for? Quote

Gorman is the only place where I have never been bugged about not running my tags (I think they look ugly) 2. See your tag is your bikes license plate, the series of 6 numbers and letters in unique to your bike. So if you put a tag say from a 98 yz250 on your quad and it's ran by park rangers your screwed, your either fined or the quad can be impounded. here is a link to awnser all your questions about red tags :http://dirtbike.off-road.com/dirtbike/arti...l.jsp?id=304163 Quote
