killshee Posted January 25, 2009 Author Report Posted January 25, 2009 i went from a 270 jet bc it was lean to a 310 and took off the snorkle now it runs fine but it idles to high and i dont have any ajustment evcept to make it idle even higher it has all brand new gaskets and seals and the yamaha sealent betweel the cases and also rubbed sealent on the gaskets cages and boots were they all press together to asure no airleaks before i bolted them back together also checked for cracks or tears in boots there are deff no air leaks Quote
lowbuckracing Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 Did the bike run good before?Have you done any mods?Is this a bike you bought with a problem or did this recently happen? Quote
C&B Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 Is there slop in the throttle cable? Make sure it isnt bound up on something like the tank, causing it to pull youre cable, thus high idle.. Quote
