camatv Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 these are super rare and very fast and reliable. used the cr500 frame from an 87 custom +14 metaltech swingarm uses stock cr linkage and rear shock, RPM 250r extended tt/drag axle +4 from stock but all alluminum for lightweight, 250r lonestar lock nut, wave rear rotor, modded stock cubframe wiht cr500 seat, desert tank, modded petcock for high flow, 86 250r front forks, front end, honda triple tree's custom fitted to the stock frame, front end parts powdercoated black, 85 cr500 motor all new internals all oem NEW crank, NEW transmission, NEW clutch componets, mild porting on cylinder STOCK head, cylinder modified with manual decompression release for VERY easy starting, wiseco piston bored .050 over, custom intake for 44mm alky lectron, carbon tech carbon reeds, custom air intake with HUGE k+n 10" long filter, FTZ outframe drag pipe, this is a very individual bike its mostly set up for straight line dune dragging i built it from pictures i had seen of others similar to it you wont find another with as strong as of a stock motor as this, MANY new parts and MANY parts that are just unavailable built it with 50's street rat rods in mind custom powdercoating on cases, cylinder and head could be striped down and frame powdercoated and would look great.. rides VERY nice super stable full suspension rear is nice and soft takes bumps nicely. camatv Posted January 10, 2009 Author Report Posted January 10, 2009 i put 10 paddle rippers on it it will pull the front up if i sit on the back of the seat its REALLY light. but its a lot of fun i hate to sell it. if one of my other bikes sell i'm keeping this took me 5 years to build and get it reliable and easy to run..
