i want to make sure i am testing them right. do i put the test lead in each boot to test. or do i put 1 lead in the cap and one on the frame. same as for the coil. i have read the banshee electrical faq and i don't understand it. i also want to test the harness like it says in the faq do i just unplug the each connector and put a test lead on one color and the other lead on the same color of the orther peice. thanks for any help. a picture would probly help a lot on how to test. thanks.

first q- no, you unscrew them from the wire and measure between the wire side, and plug side. the coil- test between the terminals for primary, and from one wire to the other for secondary. the harness- yah, that's right, but also, witheverything unpluged, aheck between wires that should not have contact.
