WTF!!!!!!!!!!! i got a trip tommorow and this thing fucks up. Edited December 24, 2008 by HAUSERSMOTORSPORTS Quote

98_shee Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 It sounds like the carbs are out of sync or a pilot jet is cloged up. How did you sync them? Both needles are in the same position? Quote
HAUSERSMOTORSPORTS Posted December 24, 2008 Author Report Posted December 24, 2008 i checked spark by grounding the plug in the head stud. i synced the carbs by sight. i did it that way before and it ran good.then it just slowly ran worse. Quote
98_shee Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 (edited) Stock carbs? Have you switched the plug wires to see if it does it on the same side? Edited December 24, 2008 by 98_shee Quote

HAUSERSMOTORSPORTS Posted December 24, 2008 Author Report Posted December 24, 2008 we got it running and its running on the right then it hops to the left then runs on that then hops back over. how do i check the plug caps? Quote
HAUSERSMOTORSPORTS Posted December 24, 2008 Author Report Posted December 24, 2008 we checked them while it was running and its getting HOT spark on both cylinders.the carbs are clean and everything. no air leaks. Quote

BUILDER Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 ohm meter- should be 5 ohms My brother inlaw just had the same problem with his banshee and his carbs were out of sync. We re adjusted them and it ran great. Quote
AKheathen Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 My brother inlaw just had the same problem with his banshee and his carbs were out of sync. We re adjusted them and it ran great. i would agree, but as stated, no spark at low rpms one side Quote
BUILDER Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 i would agree, but as stated, no spark at low rpms one side LOL readin the post i was having a hard time telling if it has not spark at an idle or if just runs like it is not firing at idle? Quote
HAUSERSMOTORSPORTS Posted December 25, 2008 Author Report Posted December 25, 2008 its not firing at idle. we plugged the right carburetor and it ran great so that would tell me that it is not pulling in fuel. Quote
