34mm PJ Help

Tried the search and found some things I tried, now I need more help!

 

Bike Mods:

4mm Stroker Crank

66mm Bore

Vitos Ported Jugs

Vitos Hemi Head (18cc Domes)

CPI Inframes Small Bore

34mm PJ Carbs

K&N Pods

 

 

Stock the Carbs had 55/152 Air Screws Turned out 1.5 turns. CEG Needle on 3rd Clip (Middle) The bike would rev fine just wouldnt start easy or idle at all

 

Tried 48/155 CEL Needle on Middle Clip and the bike would start better but still not idle. Hitting Gas had some popping and bogging

 

Tried 50/158 CEL Needle on the Middle Clip and the bike would start, Had it idleing for a second with the knobs turned all the out (More Brass showing) but it still wouldnt rev right. Tried air screws from 1.0-3.0 turns.

 

 

 

Here is what I have to try:

Needles : CEG and CEL

Pilots: 48,50,52,55

Main: 152,155,158,160, 165

 

Any Help on what I should try next? Pilot? Main? Needle? Air Screws?

Grab a pair of CGJ needles for those PJ's. When I first got my shee it had pj's on it with 55 pilots, 175 mains and CGJ needles. It was a little fat on the pilot but seemed to run pretty decent. We have a few simmilar mods so they may work well for you.
