Spykee Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 I have a banshee that is not getting a spark. I can kick it and the lights will come on. Does that mean my stator is still good. I just put it together and the guy I got it from told me that it was getting a poor spark. But I cant get one at all. Quote
tapout94 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 how are you testing the spark? the stator could still be bad, however unlikely because the problem would be in the wiring of the stator.... check the wiring harness for exposed wires but my guess is cdi... if not coil... Quote
Spykee Posted December 4, 2008 Author Report Posted December 4, 2008 I will check with a meter tomm. I checked all the grounds and connections. It has to be either the coil or cdi or stator. I was looking at one of the forms about the elect. for the banshee and they said the stator runs the ignition and the lights seperate. And told me how to test them so ill go from there. Hopefully something cheap. LOL. I will see and let every one know what the problem is. Quote
