NOS_350x Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 (edited) Im going from PTR Mids To high revs. Pulled off my mids and started comparing, Are my HIGH REVS NOT suppose to be symmetrical? My left pipe is ALMOST identical to the mids, And the right side is quite diffrent. Is this normal or maby a miss taged pipe? Pictures of high revs on both sides of the bike would help too if any can get that. Edited November 9, 2008 by NOS_350x Quote

My right hand side looks really strange compared to the left, looks like it is messed up. Look through my gallery and you should find a few pics of them. Also, do a comparison between the two, I have never ridden mid revs and I was wondering how much of a difference there really is. Quote
shanYE west Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 Yes.. there suppose to be different. Quote
jerseyrider Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 does anyone know the performance difference between the mids and the his rev???? Quote
NOS_350x Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 Well i can tell you the difference in the 2 in just a few days. The interesting part is the Left side pipe, the "fatness" is the same as the Mids, the only difference is the stinger on the Highs seems to be a bit longer (the twist is a bit tighter but the tapers seem to be the same on the 2) Where the left side is a hair larger, and bends are way different. NOS_350x Posted November 11, 2008 Author Report Posted November 11, 2008 After my first run on them, The mids seem to pull so much harder in the mid range. The high revs dont seem to pull hard anywhere. but the high revs just carry it in the rpm's The mid range falls off up top where the high revs continue to pull. Quote
rtcc Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 That is what I was always told but people. The mids are REALLY strong in the mid rpms, but of course drops off. and the Highs have nice smooth delivery powerband that revs much farther out but doenst have quite as big of a hit. I still feel like I have a lot of bottom and mid though even with my high revs. Quote
