sinjin Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 I am having some serious problems keeping reeds on my banshee. Either they get popped out or sucked in. I don't know what the problem could be. Can having most highperformance parts and stock reed cages cause this to happen? I really don't know what is going on, earlier the banshee was starting great. went for a ride, popped my reeds now the darn thing won't start for ish!... Help 1999 Banshee Quote
sinisterboo Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Can you give us a picture of what your reed setup looks like? And maybe someone can spot the problem.... Quote

sinjin Posted October 11, 2008 Author Report Posted October 11, 2008 sure i'll do that right now The thing that happened after my reeds got sucked in, my carbs were overflowing like crazy. I really don't know what to do next. I just ordered some vforce reed cage/reeds to see if this don't fix it. but i mean other than that.. what can be happening? Help given is appreciated Quote
sinisterboo Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 I see you have the Boyeson carbon fiber reeds there... The thing about carbon fiber is that it just doesnt last very long at all. I run the boyeson superstock reeds in my bike, and they have lasted over a year. But, you say you're getting the v-force3's, and thats what my wife runs in here bike. They should last quite a while, as they have way more surface area than the stock setup.... Quote
WeSt CoAsT TrUtH Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 speaking of this problem does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of reed's to get.. i'm going to upgrade soon and need some advise. Thanks Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Those cages prob require the stopper! Bro, go to the sale forum. There's a pair of VForce 2's in there for $100.. You'll love their performance and they don't make those anymore. Keep your current pedals for backups! Quote
