J-Madd Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I don't think there is much benefit going over +4 or 5 on a stock engine and stock head, and you risk detonation, unless you run race fuel, jmo. Edit: I see you have a cub - hell yeah bump that timing up. Note to self: read sig before posting, lol. Quote
J-Madd Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I might add, that it will get hot faster, so you may not be able to trail ride, if that's what you do. Quote
POORBOY350 Posted October 5, 2008 Author Report Posted October 5, 2008 lol... thanks man. do i just bump it up on the timing plate nothing else? and i do like to do kind of all around riding. i like reliability. and i run 111 gas. what will i benefit from this? just more bottom end or what? and what should i put it on? thankss for the info yal! J-Madd Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 I'd run +5 for that type of riding. It will give more bottom end, and probably a little more power everywhere except the highest rpms. Quote
