BansheeRider87 Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 This has been happening for a week or so now . When I start up my shee it will run good but the right side will sound like its skipping and sometimes it was sound like a backfire almost like a loud hissing noise out the silencer. I also put my hand up to the left side silencer and then put it on the right side and it almost feels like the left side has more forceful exhaust pressure than the right. and the left side will smoke and the right side wont. But once i start riding it it stops and runs like a top for the most part. But last night my buddy and I were jamming around my side field doing some laps and it started making that noise again and its never done it when i was riding, so i parked it. I went down this morning before college to see if shed started up and did the same noise no smoke thing. One more thing, I was doing some donuts and went from 1st to 2nd to 3rd then to 4th and had her going for a good 15secs and then it started smoking like it was on fire! so i shut off and franticly looked to see what was burning or smoking. I noticed that i had coolant dripping on to my pipes. Why would this happen? is it over flow cause i was spinning around so much ? Quote

deckheight Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Blown head gasket maybe. Coolant tends to overflow when your pushing hot exhaust gases into the water jacket... Quote
