2-stroke_couch Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 so i got this banshee less than a week ago and i got it with t-6s. i plan on doing engine work like boring it, domes, porting and stuff but i guess t-6s are not as good for all of that, maybe t-5s. i searched and didnt find anything related so what do you all think Quote
sheerider1026 Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 i sold the t6's that were on a bike that i bought , then put t5's on it... i like the t5's better than the 6's. bike is trail ported, trinity single carb, t5's.. noss head with 19cc domes, .5 on the timing.. its an arm ripper in the woods!11 very responsive, and gets on the pipe very fast.. T-6's aer just mostly for a stock bike but the T-5's are one of the most popular pipes, because they are good for stock and even better when you mod your bike. As far as the mods your doing... dont bore it unless you have to, just hone the cylinders. Quote

As far as the mods your doing... dont bore it unless you have to, just hone the cylinders. well yea im at 105 compression about so im gonna hone them and put new rings and pistons in but later in like a year when i can, i would like to bore it. but why not? should i just go with cubs? Because you can only put some many bores on a set of cylinders. It doesnt really help with power anyway. Quote

It doesnt really help with power anyway. yea i know you could only go so many but i thought it would be a bigger difference on a banshee cause i would go to about 400 or over. i bored a dirtbike of mine out one time and i couldnt tell to much but it was like 10 or 20ccs over anyway. but yea thanks Quote
