shanYE west Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 i think i smoked my clutch up it chatters a little and the oil smells burnt what do i do because i dont have a clutch puller to take it apart dont need a clutch puller.. just a 10mm wrench/socket once you get the cover off. Take the clutch cover off and see what you got going on under there. Quote

J-Madd Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 thanxs 421 would there be any benifit with going a lockup clutch on a stock motor or just a oem piece thanxs NO benefit on a stock motor. Also, it's common for the oil to smell burnt if it hasn't been changed in a while. That's the clutch fiber in the oil..and the chatter is normal. Clutches are cheap, though..I'd go ahead and install a new one while you've got it apart. Quote
