bansheejoel Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 i have one of my engines with the top end off waiting on some parts (when i get the cash) and took a look at it today and noticed the crank is starting to have surface rust.....i put some 2 stroke oil all over everything after i tore it down. What is the best way to stop the mositure? It was out in my shed so i cleaned it up and put it in my basement, i think it should be fine now but just courous...thanks Quote
boneyardbanshee. Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 spray a rag with wd-40 and wipe them down. taking in in your house was your best bet. I did the same thing. Left it out in the garage just overnight, it didnt even rain or anything. Quote
