98_banshee_newbie Posted September 12, 2008 Author Report Posted September 12, 2008 bump and it s not 21 cc but 20cc domes Quote
98_banshee_newbie Posted September 13, 2008 Author Report Posted September 13, 2008 the carb has a 190 in it now and the guy I bought it from said it was jetted for fmf's. I bought three jets up from that and three under any suggestions. Quote
gumby6t9 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 I honestly forget the size of stock main jets that you should start at but I'm thinking around 290. I'd probably start with a 27.5 pilot also. Needle clip in the middle. Remember always start rich and dial yourself in. Quote

He's using a 1 into 2 carb setup, 33mm carb. snopcyzinski is good with the 1 into twos, but from my reading....they take a HUGE main to run both cylinders compared to the normal twin setup. Probably need a richer needle too. I think (on a PWK or Keihin type carb) 190 is a starting point. Quote
gumby6t9 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 OOPS! Didn't notice the 2:1 carb setup. Sorry. Ya, Snop is the man to talk to about that setup. Quote
