Looking to buy a banshee few Questions?

Hey guys. I am looking into buyin a banshee. I found one for a good price. It is a 02 banshee with toomey pipes cool heads, bars , nerfs skids ext. he is selling it for his brother so he doesnt know much about the bike. he said his brother has 2 and he doesnt know if this one has a 380 kit?? My question is what is your opinion on a 380 kit. How much bigger bore is that on each cylindar? Is it A turn off for me? how much do you think its worth? I dont have pictures but what would you pay for one like this in good condition? thanks sam-

380 kit?? Off the top of my head, a 4mil with a .020" over bore is 379cc. An 02 in good condition would be worth anywhere from $2000 to $4000 depending on location. Best bet is to check comparable bikes in your area. How has it been maintained? What is the overall appearance of the bike? These are things that will factor into the value. The fact that the owner doesn't know too much about the bike could be a turnoff for many people, personally I'd study up and possibly use it to my advantage....what goodies does it have that the owner doesn't know about?

i've never heard of a 380 kit. looking at my marshall distributing catolog here, if its bored .090" over than the cc's is 376. if its bored .100" over, than the cc's is 382. either way, you are at the engine of the cylinder life, as far as overbores go. 1 mishap with that motor and you will be needing to shop for some good used cylinders. most likely, it'll blow up on you (due to improper jetting) and you will be up shit creek with the cylinders. if its in good shape, a fair price would be around $3000.

OK scratch that i gotcha now. 4 mil stroker with .20 overbore..... or a stock stroke with a .90 bore.

any 2002 banshee that runs and isnt beat to hell is well worth 1600 expecially with pipes, cool head, nerfs etc. I would ride it first and go from there. Look around on here for a set of used cylinders and your all set (if indeed you would ever have a issue with the other ones)
