I remember this swingarm I thought someone bought it
Waited 7 months for the guy to pay me for it. Never did :/

Like it says, I have a +8 aerotube Lonestar swingarm.
Chrome is an 8, and the arm itself is in perfect condition.
It is also diamond re-enforced which is an addition $250 option from LS. It makes the arm MUCH stronger.
$350+shipping

Looks like a Mattoon to me. Not a prodesign.
Look guys, no offense, but get off my post. These cost more because they are nicer. I didn't make the rules, but that's how it goes.

I sure your is nice but heads up you can get a brand new one on ebay for 45 shipped. Just looking out.
No. You can't.

If I pulled the picture, it means I sold the part.

I personally wouldn't deal with Minkia after all the junk people have posted about their transactions with him.
I'd at the very least pull the motor and wash out the crankcase very well to make sure all the debris is out of there. But for the time it'll take to do that, you may as well pull the crank out and wash the crank and the bearings out properly. Just to eliminate any doubt. Just pull the bottom case off and the crank will drop out. Very simple. If you have any questions, the guys here would be happy to walk you through it.

so your telling me the only way the cover will break is if the motor kicks back?
wtf so much so usless info(from other post not from you)
Not sure what post you are referring to, but yes. When a motor kicks back it puts reverse pressure on the kicker gear and puts a tremendous load on the cover. It can (and will) also break teeth off the kickstart idler gear, as well as breaking the teeth or shattering the gear on the backside of your clutch basket.

Where is the sarcasm smiley...
Guess my dmx with a stock cover isn't "super big bore" enough.
Unless your motor is kicking back on you hard enough to kill covers, a stocker is fine, and even then. There are ways to prime your motor so it is less likely to kick back on you.

Have a billet pro design with little use for sale.
55 shipped.

Damn that sucks im in socal but thanks for the reply
I have one, but it may be nicer than what you are wanting.
It was a frame up build. Powdercoated frame, cases, new plastics, aftermarket clutch (if I remember right), DG pipe, and I am sure I'm missing some things.
It's pretty dang fast...where in SoCal are you?
-
Can you make me one too? The reduced weight over my other billet transmission would really help my 60's.

I will take it pending pics...
I got all sorts of busy today. Apologies. I'll get them up later tonight.

Ouch! Anything with a billet second and your straight. I run a Rudy Kurtz 1-5...No billet 2nd yet but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
For that size motor, I don't think he really needs a billet 2nd. He can, but I think it is overkill.
Gears do wear out, it happens. I would just replace it and go on.
