What’s up banshee community . I’m also a bigger guy 6’4 400 and I am rebuilding my bike I wanted to get any good advice on what suspension I should put on my bike . I ride it at my property upstate and it’s mostly flat land no real trails or anything .. any advice would be appreciated

Fox Podium RC2 should still be available for '87-200 Banshee. That's what we are getting when start this banshee build. Got to finish installing the new tires and jeep wheels on the Wrangler before we can take her in.

The Yamaha Banshee engine is not like any other 2 strokes, if it's not oem ignition, it cant work.

Dunno how the engineers did that tho.

Pretty interesting indeed. Or the aftermarket engineers aren't good enough to crack the code

  3. Sounds like a good find, congratulations! A buddy of mine did the same when he brought a truck by going through a police office. Everything was in order, we even put on the new set of wheels and tires from 4WheelOnline and Discountdirect. Too late to check the rest of its history, it came from a flooded state. Good thing it doesn't show a major engine issue or rusts.

Found a set. I went to a buddy of mines uncles house to go on a bike run and I saw an old warrior behind the garage looked like it had been there for a while and it had gold rims on it. I asked about them he told me he’d sell the whole bike for $200 not running. So I bought it. Listed it for sale with no rims on the way home for $150 and sold it before I even got home. Told the guy to bring a 14mm socket. He even took the rims off for me lol

Nice find! Gold rims looks great

  5. Have you figured it out? Last time we worked on a bike which been sitting for 7 years, it needed some cleaning for wire contacts, especially on the battery, ground and sparkplug which resolved the idling and starting issues.

The gear that engages your clutch basket and kicker should not wiggle, only rotate. If you can wiggle it you need a new bushing in there.

New here and the Banshee we'll be working on have the same problem on the kick. Gonna check if it needs a new bushing as well.
