Would it be possible to heat up the casing with a torch without damaging the yamabond seal? What about dry icing the bearing? Would dry ice warp it?Everything is pretty much assembled and I forgot to install prior to sealing

We need more info about type of carbs you are running and what jets you have currently in the carbs? (mains & pilots) Did you see if you are getting fuel from the tank to the carbs?

Hey so the reason the banshee isn’t starting is due to the previous owner having stroked out pistons instead of regular ones. Had nothing to do with jetting at all. Have to now purchase 66mm pistons. Was literally getting no compression.

  3. Banshee won’t start, has compression, spark and I cleaned out the carbs. The timing is correct also and the gap. If I put fuel through the intake it’ll idle for a few. So I know I have a fuel issue. The float bowls are correctly set in height. Maybe incorrect jetting? Also it is bored out to 400cc.

Well for starters it’s important to be mechanically inclined and have the capacity to work on your own stuff especially when buying used products. You should expand your knowledge ASAP watch Michael Sabo on YouTube, Stupid Fast John, etc… and also watch videos how engines work etc… get enough knowledge you can probably tear down your motor and take a more in depth look

As for your problem your looking at dropping probably a couple of bands to get it fixed by someone else that’s probably at minimum. Things can get expensive very quickly with these machines see my post on buying parts, help you save a little if you decide to go on a budget and buy correctly priced Chinese parts where NEEDED. These machines need quality parts to last especially on high friction engine components like pistons crank transmission etc…

I don’t really want to say any names but locogato might be onto something. Go on ebay and then go on Alibaba and compare the part you want to buy on alibaba, its the same parts. Obviously if you buy in bulk the part will be at like 0.99 cents and maybe you have to buy 500 of them at minimum purchase amount. And yes invest 500 to make your money back etc… for business

But doesn’t mean that big banshee stores have to tear everyone a new asshole and sell them at 60 dollars a pop, sometimes in the description they even LIE saying it’s a USA quality made quality part I caught many stores saying that😬 also not even saying you can negotiate the item price down with the wholesaler from Alibaba.

It started happening a few years ago. Banshee owners are cheap as fuck and they created the market for cheap Chinese junk.

Now, prices have gone up and people don't even pay attention. Then they buy junk and are upset.

Very weird, they don’t seem cheap as fuck because most of them are buying products from big banshee eBay named stores and even “reputable” banshee manufacturers that are literally selling Chinese shit 3-4 times more than the price of the regular Chinese item, just because it comes in their own labeled package.

Like well known banshee part manufacturers are buying Chinese parts and engraving their name on it and presenting it like if it’s some quality part, when it’s Chinese shit. And thinking nobody will notice, and saying somehow it’s better because it has their logo lmao.

I don’t know man most banshee owners don’t even have a banshee when they’re done with their build, everything is littered with Chinese aftermarket shit parts. I’m comming from the diesel world and getting into banshees and you’ll know if parts are made in china right away.

They are socket head (use an Allen wrench)

The question is why. Unless you are at a VERY competitive level of drag racing they make zero sense.

Actually I don’t recommend buying them. Come to find out they cost like 0.99 cents a piece buying in bulk from China specifically Alibaba. The brand Talon is basically non existent. What’s up with Chinese banshee parts markups, with some big ebay store sellers surpassing oem prices on CHINESE PRODUCTS WTF

  8. Make sure to look twice when shopping parts on banshees, many sellers on eBay buy Chinese crap and market them as their “own brand” of parts. Look on alibaba and AliExpress for parts and even Walmart. Lol funny to see how these eBay sellers sell Chinese parts for a higher price leaving you to WONDER if their part is better somehow than true Chinese banshee parts ITS ALL THE SAME.

I fell for it thinking that the titanium studs I bought were directly from the brand “Talon” which come to find out that brand doesn’t necessarily exist. It’s honestly the eBay store owner buying these case studs from alibaba, and marking them as “talon” parts. Then they want to charge you shipping fees and bs you around if their cheap part breaks like if it’s some kind of prized part. Lmao the deception they try to portray. I’ll make a video exposing this stuff on YouTube
