I’ll let you know how and where I mount it once I get it done, I’ll start maybe this weekend.

I say go for it dude, it’d be nice to know in case. However they’re right, if tuned properly it shouldn’t be an issue. But I’m finishing up my 521 super serval cub now and I’m still gonna ride my same places. So I might be the one to find one that works

I know, it’s not and issue just a huge heat difference when going fast, compared to going slow in tight trails. Fan would be nice to have just to have that fan pulling some more air through the radiator when you’re not going so fast.

I’m not sure that wouldn’t fit either, the YFZ450 has much more space available for a fan than the Banshee. I looked into this as well awhile back for shits and giggles since I ride tight trails occasionally too. I think it was the Yamaha R6 street-bike fan that was the closest to fitting the Banshee. Without modifying or removing the grill+shroud of course, which would look idiotic

Heard a Spal 4” puller fan would work as well on top left side there’s extra room to possibly fit I’ve noticed.

Go faster.
Unless you are riding in super hot weather, have a big modded engine, and/or running at redline in 1st gear, you shouldn't have an issue with cooling.
I’m not having problems with over heating but when going slower in tight trails my banshee gets hotter so I’d like to keep it cooler when riding trails

Has anyone ever installed a fan on their banshees radiator for some extra cooling? No my bike is not over heating just thought it would be cool and be better to have extra air flow when going slow through the trails, if anyone has ever done this lmk how you guys did it.

Not possible that they are burnt out if they will light with an external battery.
Could be a bad connection in the harness or a failing voltage regulator.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hmm, well If that's the case then I wouldn't know.

Ive been riding a few times this season and my lights worked an now my shee's light won't turn on at all. bulbs look good test ok with battery (lights up when hooked to a battery)

Again, check it all. Make sure you know exactly what you have.
If the banshee is really bored to 375, don't waste your money on anything. Those cylinders are paperweights.
I assume the cylinders being "paper weights" is a bad thing.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
you need to know what bore you have, what stroke you have, and any porting.
Call up mull and get some domes for you.
Elevation is 272' owner said I'm bored to a 375 and stock stroke no porting.

Hey guys I'm slowly just getting ideas of what mods next & I've been looking into cool heads but what domes should I get? I run 91 pump gas (and wanna keep it that way) and I mix 40:1 maxima 927 stuff. My mods are k&n pod filters fmf pipes 30mm Oko carbs, and previous owner said something about being bored 375? Don't know about that but what else would i need to know about what size domes to get?

Here ya go
mailman is good shit btw and offers good info
Thank you.

392 driveline big bore.
if you set it up for pump gas around 150 psi with some timing and stock carbs with a good set of pipes you can make low 70s HP and have a nice bike for the dunes that will have great mpg and be a blast to ride. I have their 421 setup with slp pipes so I know first hand.
Yeah someone linked me to this http://drivelineperformance.com/yamaha-banshee-392cc-big-bore-assassin-cylinder-kit/ think that's what I'm going with.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
also FYI... that crank for 375 from HJR isnt a hot rods ...
I'll go with the big Bore from drive.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Have to either cut the stock head for the big bore, or cool head with domes for the engine. Again, talk to driveline, they can help you a lot with what you will need for your riding.
Alright I'll ring em

So $375 for just port job. What about boring and new pistons? another $300. So $675 for that.
$675 for ported stock cylinders
Or you could buy the $799 big bore kit from driveline, sell your stockers to someone for $100ish, and get a better top end for roughly the same price.......
After I buy the Big bore kit what else I gotta get for it? Or can I just have someone install it and go

Hmm, I'll think about the big bore kit. Any dyno vids?

So buy a 392 driveline. Talk to bill. The port timing on it is similar to a dune port
http://drivelineperformance.com/yamaha-banshee-392cc-big-bore-assassin-cylinder-kit/
$799? HJR said he'd dune port mine + 4mill for $375.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
$799? Damn HJR said he would dune port + add the 4 mill for $375 on the email
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Just buy a driveline top end.
Lol. I want me a dune port.
