Lol, figured go big to have room to grow into! Thats the general idea I've gotten with reviews on these pipes. Any special tips for shinin these pipes up? Or just good ol elbow grease and chrome cleaner/polish? Sorry guys no big updates lately. Been reorganizing alot at work and been cleaning out shop at home. Finally getting heat hooked up! I did send back those led pods and ordered a 14" OPT7 spot/flood bar im gonna run in front of grille instead. Also ordered a clymers manual and some misc stuff to hook a timer high idle switch in my truck. Hopin to do some more things this weekend! Well havn't had a chance this weekend yet to work on the bike. Had to finish up some repairs for work and been trying to get moved into my new tool box. I had emailed OPT7 lighting since I received the wrong led lights and will be returning/reordering the correct ones. Just curious, will the factory light switch handle the power load? Im assuming yes in theory I think the led pods would be drawing less current than the factory halogens. But if I were to also add a 6 inch bar for high beam if the high/low switch will handle it so I don't need to order the wiring harness. The pods specs show 1.34 amp draw.

Well got sidetracked and went riding with some buddies today. Weather was just too good to pass up. So i took our 300ex out. I thought about runnin a weld all way around but i figured with 6 spot welds it should be pretty dang good. Yes the welds reached the nut. Ran welder a little hotter and got a good bead in the holes! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have the tendency to over do things. But id rather not be dealing with broken mounts later on. Think ill end it there for today. Everything went smoothly thank god haha. Ill be running this pipe all the way through the frame. With coupling nuts inside to bolt to. Ground down edges a little for a snug fit In. Welded. And smoothed up a little. In the hole and welded. Not the prettiest but it will be hidden Also had to drill peg mount holes to fit half inch bolts. Mocked em up on frame with bolts and fit washers in between And thats how far i am right now. I can make some brackets to mount the rear nerf tabs to. And for the most part today i got em lined up pretty good. The front mounts were pretty straight to the engine motor mounts like you mention. This weekend ill work on it some more! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine being an j arm bike would i be able to run raptor calipers? Or is that for a arm front ends? But you like your streamlines then? Have a pic of them by chance? Curious on swingarms now. Originally i was thinkin a +2 out back. But have been reading guys like to run shorter for traction and mx racing./jumping. I for sure would like to go to a roundhouse carrier. But forkin up $600+ right now seems steep. Any brands or reliable ebay specials anyone knows of? And trying to decide what length.
