  1. Riding the whole weekend, came home today rode again for 2 hrs. Running good didn't appear to have any problems. Decided to check the spark plugs the left ceramic insulation was completely missing and less than a millimeter of the tip of the strap looked chipped. The top of the straps had no pieces of metal or sign of detonation. The right plug looked tan and a little with carbon build up around the threads. Only strenuous thing I did to it was 2 top speed runs back to back but even after that the thing felt like it was running fine. All the common fixes have been done recently. Leak down is good, jetting is good I think lol.

  2. Went riding hard all weekend, came home today and rode again for like 2 hrs. Things been running really good. Was messing around outside and said what the hell lets pull the plugs and see how they look. Well, the left plug's ceramic insulation was totally missing the right plug was was still intact tan colored and a little wet. The only thing crazy I did this weekend was a top speed run so if anything were to happen I'd guess it happened then.

  3. True, I took a 2 hr ride yesterday normal riding through trails when I got back the strap looked fine no signs of heat damage but in my opinion my plugs were too white no carbon build up at all. They didn't look washed just didn't look like they had 2 hrs of ride time on them

  4. I've decided I'm just going to get this thing on a dyno. I don't understand with my build and carbs how I'm running that hot. A 158 with a clip on the rich end should be more than enough when there's people running 155s with crazier builds than I have.

  5. I'm using 93 gravel. Since I finished the bike I've dropped mains changed heads domes coils boots retarded timing. I obviously didn't do those things because of the color of the plugs but I've ran chops before and color has always been grey. Hell man I was running VP116 and still got a grey chop

  6. First I'd like to give a shout out to sheerider11 for taking a ride out and helping me.

Heres my latest plug chop on 158 mains dropped down from 165s. 50 Pilots JJH at second clip (rich side) air screws 1.5 out.

I Yamabonded every bolt on the intake it passed a leak down with flying colors I installed a cool head with 24cc domes(compression unknown since install). I'm running 93 with 32:1 denominator. My coils were at 2 so sheerider11 hooked me up with new coils. Synced carbs with carb sync tool.

These at the 158 plugs. Ring looks good to me but I took a pic with a cardboard back drop to show the grey color is still there. Thanks for the help everyone.
