Theres about a $1000 difference between both setups, and more or less a 10whp of a difference on pump gas. Whether or not if its worth it to you is subjective.

When i was interested in this mod i was looking around and didn't seem to find much info on it and since i knew it was a popular mod to do around here, i thought id buy a new one and compare.
Weight each of axle alone
Banshee- 11.2 lbs
Blaster-10.2 lbs
Blaster axle
Banshee axle
Here is a picture of the length difference
Pros
- Helps keep you straighter out of a dead stop launch on the street
- It's Lighter
- Brings tires closer together which helps with traction and your E/Ts
Cons
- Not as wide as stock

It depends where your from though, where i live the OEM heel guard setup is more than enough, and i can live with rocks hitting my hands every so often, it aint so bad with good gloves. That or ride behind the guy with the worse tires

^ that's because when you compare a 4mm stock cyl with Dune type porting on race gas, for only a couple hundred more bucks you get the same performance on pump gas out of a serval. Now make that a race gas serval and the serval is way ahead. If you drag or ride mostly wide open in the dunes, a cub is definitely the way to go.
i agree, but last thread he made he said he usually rode in wide open fields and drag raced alot. Everyone suggested serval for some reason. sounds to me like people just like repeating what they read.

Everyone is going to recommend you a serval on this site, no matter what riding you do LOL.
