I have asked this question a few times and continue to get conflicting answers.The question is, can a 230 lbs rider ever achieve 3.90s on a Alky 465cub with SCP. And 73rollout 14 stag extremes, with wheelie bar?
Havent weighed the bike but I can lean over the center of it and lift it up, all 4 tires off the ground. Best guess is it weighs 225 lbs ready to race. I have tried all kinds of sprocket combos and jetted up one side and down the other. Best et I have seen is 4.15 with a 1.49 60ft.
I have a set of 81r/o 14 stags i plan to try this season.
Im starting to think that the only way to get there is become anorexic or build a bigger motor.
My hope with this post is to poll the masses and put my mind to rest. Please reply if you know the answer, Yes chunky boys can hit that number on this engine , or a simple No you fat ass loose some weight or build a bigger engine.

I took my 465 to asphalt for the first time last weekend. Ran the 1/8 in 6.45 103 mph. 1.58 60 ft. Had a blast. STY I was racing with your old adversary, Jimmy Taylor. I thought that was pretty good for first time out.

The rider weighs over 300lbs. It has carried him to a 4.90 so far. That was before the swinger axle and spindle mounts. I'm certain I can get him close to 4.60s

Damn, that other link was old. I almost forgot about that one. This new one is full drag, 421 Alky cub, override all the goodies.

Yes we still race it.... It just got an aluminum drag axle, spindle mounts and a + 12 swing arm.

This post is useless. Numbers. Post numbers. Links, dynos, videos AND thorough information, and quantifiable information. I encourage progress and flow of information.
If there is a builder out there that'll topple what K&T and A&S can do on a drag or what Redline, Fast, and HJR do for everything else, we need to see them. You claiming that there is information out there that we don't know about is pointless unless you actually show the information.

Those carb slides look like pj slides to me. Are you certain they are pwk? I dont think they made a 35 pj.
