  1. Re building this motor. Started removing the clutch cover and can only get it separated about 1/2-3/4" from the case, its separating because the joint is sliding through the case.joint has not come out of the clutch cover at all, even after constant pulling. I tried using shims, lotta pressure, still wouldn't pull out. Sprayed some shyte in there too. WTF?

    Hacksaw?

  2. Hows it going,

I did alot of research but wasnt able to get a definate answer. As i was doing the tors removal kit, I lost both washers that sit on top of the e clip/ needle on the throttle valve slide. Its above the clip on the needle and below the spring retaining plate. My understanding is they are shims for when you need them. I have a completely stock bike with just a pro design foam filter. Do you think i need to replace them to put above the e-clip?

    http://www.jetsrus.com/individual_parts/009_395_su.html Do these look right?

Or can i just ignore not having them? Is the neddle always gonna sit lose/ wobbly in the throttle slide?

    thanks for your time guys.

The washers weren't doing anything sitting above the clip. They are stored there in case you need them below the clip. And the needle retainer should keep the needle from floppin around.

Before you know if you even need the washers, you need to get your jetting right, the best place to start is to use the Banshee Digital Toolbox,
