hello eveyone. this is a great site.
I just found an all stock 03 banshee. never even been rebuilt. I've searched site and now my head hurts. I am a machanic but new to banshee's. what I am wondering is what to do? My riding style are coal hills, tight woods, open fields, pretty much everything. All I want is to beat 450's. But not beat my bank as i have a family and they are first. I ordered a timing plate, and smaller front sproket. lookig at toomey t5 or t6. also do i need to get rid of tors. and what is the benifet? I read to mill the heads but how much? Or should I get different heads. Is porting a must? still want reliability. I'm mainly looking to bolt on for now. until I need to rebuild it. A little bragging rights is all. now to handling. I think this is where i would like to spend more of my money. what shocks are good? I don't race I just play so not looking to break the bank. A little more stable and softer ride would be nice. I like to jump also. I live in south central PA. It is rocky Let me say again it is rocky.
Any ideas would help. And thank you in advance.
