  1. Very thorough. I just take the plate loose and get the dremel cutting bit and widen the mounting holes on the plate as far as they will go and call it good. I don't even unplug the stator, and don't remove the pickup coil.

What is the advantage of doing this mod?

    Thanks Mitch

  2. Not sure about the 20's at that low of an elevation. I ride at 7200ft, so all I can really tell you is what I've heard from others. I would try and score a set of 21cc domes. The 20's will probably work, but put you right at the limit of running pump gas. Especially if you're running any timing.

If I remember right, the 22cc domes you're talking about without the race for the o-ring are probably big bore domes, meant for 68mm or bigger cylinders. Usually the big-bore domes are missing the o-ring race, and the o-ring is just stretched a little bit and fits around the outer lip of the dome.

Thanks for the info. I looked on back of the domes package an looked up the part # on pro design web. for standard bore also I looked at the inside of my head and there is a oring that the domes seals against besides the one on the dome itself..and the pros sit right in my head!!But would like to find some 21cc to trade my 20cc for. just rescently got the banshee so still learning what parts can or cant use.. Mitch

  3. Hey guys I just got a 99 banshee with a modquad head with 20cc domes not installed yet, I was wondering since i live at a elevation of 500-600ft. above sea level if they would be ok to use? I will be trail riding and using pump gas.

also it has ss trinity stage 4 full exhaust, vforce 3 reeds and k&n filter but stock piston n rings. I have a set of pro design 22cc domes but they dont have a place for the oring around the top like modquad. so not sure if they will work.. Thanks!!!
