  1. Doesnt the gas gas 300 two stroke atv have reverse....I have a dirtwheels magazine laying around, it was pix of it at a sand sport show or something like that..they said you pull the clutch in and hold a red buttom down for like 1-2 seconds and the moter stalls, and then fires backwards or something like that.

Any sled guys here. I think some of them work on the same principle.

  2. There was a member on here several years ago that said when he started his banshee and tried to take off it would go in reverse. Met him at a ride and sure enough it was still doing it. The flywheel key had sheared and let the timing change enough to run in reverse. Any time he put it in gear and tried to move it would go in reverse.

  3. If anybody makes it to the Clash of the titans in Louisiana, thats held a couple of times a year. There is usualy a couple of blasters that race there, that beat all stock piped banshees and most all ported one too...I think CP customs blaster is running around 4.5 in the 300' and Luke from L.R.E. racincg had built one that ran a 4.4. Thats fast for a blaster I don't care who you are!!!! I really doubt the one on ebay will beat a stock banshee though..

Back when CP Customs was just getting started Craig built a blaster for his wife that would take just about any stock port and piped Banshee. It looked like hell and surprised a lot of people. It is hard to believe but I saw it.

  4. I have a set that have stock ports. They are supposed to be standard bore but I haven't measured them. I should be able to measure them tomorrow if you are interested. I'm selling these for a buddy that moved to Guam.

  5. I hooked Lee up with the vinyl stickers he sold a few years back. I tried putting them on flags but they really didn't stick that well. Screenprint is the way to go with something like that. I didn't try t-shirt vinyl. That might work. I'm not sure if the flags could take the heat to make it adhere though. Even if that worked I never found a good way to adhere the flags to the pole although I do have a few more ideas now than a couple of years ago. I might have to dig the old flags out and try a few things.

  6. im sorry unbleded? and added unleaded gasoiline to a deisel? im not by any means a deisel tech but from everything iv heard that not the smartest thing you could do... they have much more compression and would cause the fuel to detonate am i correct guys?

I'm not talking a huge quantity. 10-15% unleaded on a fillup.

The paragraph below explains the difference between #1 and #2 diesel. Adding the unleaded just creates a slightly thinner fuel. It may not sound smart but the old man has owned at least one million mile truck(semi). He must be doing something right.

Fortunately, large truck fleets and petroleum marketers such as truck stops and wholesale fuel suppliers are capable of improving the winter quality of diesel by blending a lighter diesel stock, commonly referred to as No. 1 diesel, into the regular No. 2 diesel. They may also achieve positive results with the use of additives. In either case, they can save money and avoid potential down time by knowing the cloud point of the fuel before the blending or additive treatment.

  7. Let me guess. If your neighbors had not yelled and had called the cops, you have started a thread about how pissed you are because you got a ticket and your bike was impounded. You would be pissed at your neighbors and the cops and you would hate them all. Then when your bike gets stolen the cops would be your best bud. If riding on the road is illegal then don't do it. I have rode my quad down the road before but always at idle. I don't complain about people doing the same but I will let them know if they are going too fast. Anything above walking speed in a residential area is too fast. You never know when a kid will jump out into the street or in front of your atv. I guess the biggest thing is be prepared to deal with the consequences. They are not always immediate. Your neighbor may work for the local government and may be working to take away every riding spot anywhere near you.
