  1. I recently got a new banshee, I have a stock size hot rod crank, stock carbs, stock reeds, 64.50 wiseco pistons, and 2 cylinders bored .020 over, one has a sleeve, and one is ported...

I'm way too ACD to use these cylinders and need either 2 matching cylinders bored .020 over, or a completely new top end, prefer to have a trail port and polish, but if too expensive, I'll pass...

Anyone can help me out and give me a good deal to get this bike running?

    Thanks!

  2. sapient, what does the r/t run in the 1/4? I always liked those trucks!

I haven't brought mine to the track yet, but I'm expecting to run mid to high 13's but that's just my educated guess from street races and other people's experience. With some ET's im sure I could burn a second, RT's are torque-y as fuck, i fry tires way too easy off the line.

  3. I was wondering this also. My friend has a Raptor 700r with a stage 2 cam, Curtis Sparks exhaust, power commander, high comp piston... the thing is a fucking animal.

I'm in the process of building a banshee, 72mm big bore, Kennedy Port and Polish, 34mm carbs, +4 timing, fmf fatty golds... supposed to have around 75hp when its finished.

So am I going to be able to smoke his ass or will it be a close run?

  4. Well, I ended up buying another 34mm for now... I've already spent way too much on everything else, and I just want to get it running. Running 34mm isn't going to run it lean to the point where it burns up will it? Or am i just confusing choke with lean? You can choke it without it running lean?

  5. I have a 34mm Keihin PJ 07babg that is on my blaster...

I'm wanting another 34mm carb that will sync up with the one ive got for my banshee.... Anyone have what I need or is this not a good idea? I'm not sure. I'm getting a 72mm Big Bore, with a port and polish and Im afraid the stock carbs are going to run it too lean. I'm willing to trade the stock carbs with tors for one 34mm also.

  6. I'm looking for a +3 or +4 key, the one i have now is +10 (don't ask me, I bought the bike from some idiot)

Or an adjustable stator plate with a stock key.

    Whichever is cheapest...

  7. @Twisted, So you're saying I shouldn't JUST buy pistons, throw them in, and run? lol cause that's what I was planning on...

Is there anyone on here I could send my cylinders to have them bored? Or does anyone know of anybody reliable around the baton rouge, Louisiana area?

If they're stock bore, what would I want to bore them over to?

@ Pondtunes, he said he was running 4/1 with some kind of oil that made it smell like race fuel... klotz maybe?

I sure would like to know if the +10 key would cause it to blow up, I don't want this to happen again for sure.
