Know the area well. I grew up in the small city of Pinole & El Sobrante.

Thanks for the input Bigweave. At the age of 52, family of 5, a boat, a utility trailer, a toy hauler, a jeep, truck and 2 passenger cars, 2 kayaks, 4 ATV's, a jet ski, 2 dogs.........I have to choose my time wisely on certain priorities. Basic maintenance I can handle just barely as time allows, the rest I leave to experts.
What no birds or fish

Also I notice you're from Northern Ca. What area? Just curious.
Kind of nice to see another old fuck around here.

Get regular carbs.
They will be plenty and all you need
Have to agree . Stock will work fine unless you go with the 421 set up.
-
Ahhh Yeah. You got a great deal.
I just read thru your thread. That motor was fresh and did well for what it was. Probably had 20 minutes of actual run time when I sold it ( 4 seconds at a time ) LOL.
Enjoy and take care of it.

I found the " For sale thread" if your curious.

Wow.
Small world. That's my old motor. I sold that when I went to the ten mil cub. Brandon did a great job porting it. If I remember it pulled around 85hp on the dyno.
Not to bad for a stock cylinder 4 mil.

Wiring is fairly basic. Just don't over think it. It will drive you crazy. Keep up posted.

Just curious
What did your banshee cost you? Looks like it was a someones extra parts assembled kind of bike. No disrespect but you may want to "tone" it down a little. Or try to come up with a common color theme.
Either way have fun

If you do this from the ground up you're gonna be over budget even with a 4 mil. I'll sell you a good running 421 Cub for $2000 to get ya started. I'll throw in OOF pipes (CPI BB or Sniper- your choice) and carbs (alky PWK 38mm or 39mm - your choice)for $500 more. The motor is ready to go with reeds, intakes 2-5 (non dunable) override, lockup, etc. Does not have straight cut gears.

I have one listed in the for sale section.

Probably a good choice. Parted mine a few weeks ago and it sold fast and I made out much better.
Good luck either way.

Not your CDI.

Probably will do exactly that. Damn hoods are hard to find anymore.

I feel the say way Jason. I expect parts in a timely manner. When I sell parts I make it a priority to have said parts out withing 24 hours and always send those parts out priority mail. The difference between priority and snail mail is minimal. Well worth the few dollars to satisfy the buyer.

Thanks Carlo

Yep.
Used to go to Concord and watch circle track racing. Pretty sure that track is long gone.
