  1. Hey guys new to the forum. I am a member of a few more. I must say the vulgarity on the shoutbox is determental. its sad that this acceptable. to the younger members it is not a good read. Not bashing or being controversial if this is the norm so be it. hope to see a cleaner repor.

    Thank you

  2. burning oil and destroying the enviroment is the nature of the 2stroke beast, until someone comes up with a version that doesnt require adding oil to the gas and emission levels can compete with 4pokes...

someone said the LTR450 was shitcanned because of emission levels...or because of the ease of changing the factory tune or something, can somebody elaborate on that...why did suzuki have to take a hit

you hit the nail on the head on the ltr

  3. agree or dissagree mybe you should take my bike for a ride and then tell me i'm wrong. to each there own. in total i spent close to $1000 and bottom line is i am very happy. i thought this thread :) was about my seat  ?

  4. not only did i have that work done i also had my shocks polished then annodized. my spanner nuts were chromed. and the piggyback resivior on the rear shock was changed to a longer body it holds additional fluid. i don't remember what the res came off but Bruce At B-line control had it lying around and called me on it if i wanted it. i also had the piggyback resiviors re plated.

yeah it did cost me but this is what we do with our bikes.  $ $ $$ $ $ $ $  OUCH

  5. actualy thew were cut as yfz shocks are to tall. and yes i have tried other shocks. this was a fit for me and i am very happy with them. sent front and rear shocks to B-line control bruce is an ace with his ability as a craftsman in the suspension business. i adjusted my shock for the terrain i drive.

i am going to pick up a used seat a beater and experament with it to see if it is what i want before i commit to having my seat altered. thanks for the input on the grinder.

    Thank you

  6. i love my banshee. and in the process of a 250r build esr 370. the feal and the sound of a 2 stroke  are the balls. i also have 3 four strokes. 09 xfx 450  08 yfz 450  08 ltr 450.  all are big bore high compressioon ported all are open air box. with 50/50 fuel mix. ltr & kfx are fuel injected with throttle body mods. very responsive absolutly no hesitation. yfz is carbed with mods. cams cranks mods on all and i love them. lazy mans wheelie machines. hands down the ltr is my fav to ride it handles awesome.

don't be a hater once you start to ride one you will be hooked. they are hard to beat in the trails

  7. ive had this bike for 6 years now. its funny about the yfz shocks. was told that in the past. i must say to a non beliver they are perfectly set up. i have been riding for 25 years. a friend of mine who also said the same and has had a lot of experience with banshees who i ride with regulary rode this bike was impressed with the overall performance of my revalved shocks. electric carving knife humm. i wont tell the wife. ha ha ha ha

  8. hey guys new guy here. regestered a while ago but not much activity from me since i've joined. i have an 01 banshee 4 mil engine done by herr juggs. yfz shocks 2 plus 1 arms t 5 toomys. i ride trails only here in massachusetts. my bike looks nice i keep up on it. my seat is in excellent condition and very comfortable but i feal i sit to high on it. its great when we just ride around the trails. but when i want to lay into it especially cornering when i have to articulate my body. i feal that if the seat was lower i would sit more in the bike than on top. i'm sure there is room to cut the foam down and i would assume i would loose some comfort. i am not interested in trying to mod this my self would prefer to have it done by someone who is a pro at the banshee seats. any information would be appreaciated.

    Thank you
