I already have.421 cub. Thinking about building.another drag banshee and give my gf this one to race. I was thinking of a 7mil 68mm cub motor but not sure yet.

??????????????????????? not sure what you are trying to ask?

very cool! to the top!

Run a stock cylinder 4mil setup. I have had both, and ive gotta say i like my K&T stock cylinder 4 mil better then my 421cub I had.
Id go with 35mm carbs (means you need intakes). You dont HAVE to run a duneable or an overide tranny with either setup, just makes shitfing it a hell of a lot easier. I have a duneable in my stock cylinder bike, but had a stock tranny in my 421 both worked, just takes a little more effort to shift the stock tranny.
looking to build a 421 later this year ,so glad this stuff was asked! why do you like the 421 stock cylinder set up better than 421 cub motor?
sorry for jumping on your post!

First Pete, what does it mean if it revs up without throttle?sorry thats not what i ment. just trying to help with the problem of hard starting.if the exhaust is to high it can cause it to be tough to start, and it will have very little power off idle, but will rev high once it is rolling, say 30ish in second gear hope this helps!

cool rides keep the pic's coming!
-
if it has been ported to with a inch of its life, then that could cause hard starting.(too high exhaust port) does it have any bottom end (off idle)? or does it rev like crazy ?
unfortunatly if it has to high exhaust ports there isn't a fix for that! other than new cylinders!
thanks pete!

It doesn't even have any stickers!!!!
Think of how much faster it would be if it had 230 hp worth of stickers on it!?
my fenders arent carbon fiber that must be why i cant go 117mph !
-
Well, I found a Banshee capable of doing over 120, well actually it goes over 500. But hopefully you get the idea.
......but thats cheating...hes only using one motor...not 4 lol

this guy is the new ELKA, bro your gps could be the best in the world, i dont doubt that its good but the fact is gps' dont read out accurate speeds im just saying get it radared or take it to the track. Dont keep adding gas to a fire that you really dont know how to put out, your acting a like a d-bag with people that are only trying to help you from looking like a fool
well said!

What gearing are you running?
with 15/41 id like to think my shee could do 80 with the shearers. Ill have to check the gearing calculator and see what the theorotical number is.
Cody
stock gearing!

Not too much but apparently alot of these other guys have smoked too much. Why is it that I'm the only one getting shit for this. There are other people that are running real close to what I have and I don't see anyone saying anything to them. Like I said befor when you see the video then you guys can shove it up your ass.
i ike to go fast!.....my 01 shee with cool head, fmf fattys air box mod .1000 ft radar run 79.9,79.8 mph! there was a guy there with a 310 honda (250r) and he went 84 ish
the only over 100 was a street bike powerd trike and he went 115 ish!
-
ok so i have the +4mil but trying to get rid of the engine as whole or at least the lower end together, with the bottom end you'll get basically all new internals,+4mil, billet clutch basket new, new clutch, direct drive lockout new, straight cut gears, shift star mod, ricky stator adjustable, crank is trued and welded, cases are port matched for cub also epoxyed, billet impeller wheel, and prob some other things i'm forgeting!!! asking around 1400.00 for the bottom end!!
howmuch do you want for whole motor? thanks pete
