  2. Ok, My left hand side Mikuni Carb leaks/dribbles fuel out the verrry bottom port. I believe that is the drain port. Well I took out the carb drain screw and cleaned it off, put teflon tape on it, and tightened it all the way back in. The port still leaks/dribbles out fuel when I am on the throttle, etc... any insight? Thanks, I have learned a lot in the weeks I just got on here!

  6. 98 Banshee. Quad said to have fresh top end, stock bottom end. Has mikuni carbs, not sure on size Prob stock size? Dyno Port 2-1 pipe. Wish I knew more about it banshee I got. That is all I know It has NGK B8ES plugs. Bike starts up everytime. Runs great down low and up top BUT has a subtle hesitation/grumble right before it gets into the powerband... Running 93 octane gas, with a 32:1 mixture. I have been told to maybe try a colder plug or a 45:1 - 50:1 fuel mixture/?

  9. Yeah I saw them. I just ask does the TORS still do shit to the banshee when the 3 wire electrical thingy is unplugged?
  10. Well if that 3 wire electrical unit is unplugged from my quad, what damage or negative issues would the TORS unit cause? Thanks, I am learning much from you all!

  13. I literally have NO carb know-how. How do I clean it? Uninstall and spray it with carb cleaner and re-install?
  14. When I am idling/and riding my banshee.... I noticed the left side carb dribbles out fuel a little bit out the 'puke' valve or whatever it is called. ( the lower fitting on the carb). The right carb leaks little to none. I am a fuel inj. guy, so this is allll new and I am trying to learn. Thanks for your time.
  15. Was on a civic for a while. Made 623horse. Has it changed for the good or bad? Mine are. I just spent 4K on a built race car engine, 1500 on a turbo, 3000 on axles, 2000 on a trans, 1800 on a fuel setup, 3000 on a roll cage, etc.. and then it all hit the fan. I can handle a quad this time around
  16. between camber and toe, hard to get it all incheck. pulls to the right, i keep eye balling it and seem to get no where. thanks for the link, i will look into it tomorrow after work
  17. Nope, its a 2-1 pipe. I hate it, but sounds good. I will leave it for a while. It needs an alignment BADLY. I have fiddle with it for 2 afternoons and cant get it right. I guess i will take it to a shop. I wanna get a longer/wider stance on it, but not considerably.
  18. I am 24, live in Louisville, KY. I am a welder/fabricator. I grew up in bum fuck Indiana and rode quads until i was 16 and got bit by the car bug. Gave up quads until now again at 24. My racecar blew up, too much to fix... sold it off and used money for a new toy.. my banshee! I always wanted one. I had had numerous Warriors, Honda 250R's, and LT250r;s. My dad who was my sponser (LOL) would never invest in a banshee. He said I was too little and young for one, and it has (2) of everything to replace. He was who got me into quads by funding me as a child. Well, 2 months ago dad passed away to battling cancer for a looong time. I got back into what he knew I loved. I bought my quad for 2K. Runs like a scalded dog. From what I know it has.... aftermarket wheels, DG bumper, fresh top end, new reeds, new clutch, aftermarket A-arms and swing arm and axle. Dyno Port exhaust, Ohlins, boost bottle, k&n single 2-1 filter. Starts like a dream hot or cold. My LT250R was a nightmare to start. I have a lot to learn. I am a car big and fuel injection guy. SO this is all new now, that I have to do it on my own and no more daddy to help me out when in a rut. I cant wait to get the time to get up to Attica (BADLANDS) Its been 9 years since I been! Here is some of my fab/welding work I do at home and work...
  19. i dont know if it has a kit? I am new at these. I have had LT250rs and Honda 250r's. I know though, it runs great, no throttle issues or hesitation. Runs and starts up great! Thanks for the help so far. i am not to worried about it
  20. Mine is dead, need a nice working order REAR banshee brake caliper. Preferably with decent/good pads and master cylinder if possible! I have a 98 'shee
  21. Noob, but bare with me. I bought a 98 Banshee. The guy said it had some electrical unit unplugged. It has a white plug, with 3 wires on it I believe. He says with it being unplugged the quad rides better, etc.... In the box of parts it came with, the empty Banshee plug goes a small black little plastic relay looking thing. What is it? thanks!
